i was told by a loan officer at a wachovia bank that Discover will give a card to anyone. Try them out.
if you ask for it, you might can get the card they have that gives 5% cash back on gas purchases. (that's what i've got)
The Citi AAdvantage Card is relatively easy to get. I got it a couple of years ago with a barely decent FICO score.
Credit cards are evil you should make every effort never to use them! The easier they are to get the higher the interest is going to be.

I woulnt worry about the card company so much, however I would rather look at what they are offering, like no monthly fees for one, also ask yourself what kind of reward they offer and can you use them? Otherwise the companies are really all the same to me.
First Stop using Credit card. Instead use some other loan @ cheaper interest to pay. Once u start using credit card and u will never ever be able to clear. u will end up in debts debts. Particularly if u live in India, As there are obscure laws on credit cards, the companies charge somewhere from 45% to 55%.
Beaware credit card companies are fraudesters.. U may not even know if they add to ur debit just $1. There are lot of instances in india where iCICI, Citi Bank, HSBC, Standard chartered adding debits without the knoweledge of their clients. They are robbers. Be careful.
