Does anyone else find loan adverts really annoying eg picture?

if I want a loan the awful ad's wont make me get a loan through them.

I'm less likely to go to Picture loans or the one with carol vorderman. I think they should spend less on advertising and make people pay less interest.

there are so many companies advertising no win no fee, debt consolidation, loans for people with credit problems etc etc etc.

They are encouraging people to get more in debt. I think if you haven't much money, maybe sell things, only go to them if you are desperate.

It is really annoying - if I want a loan I wont turn the tv on to get the number, i'd look in phone book. why shove it in our faces.

What do you think?

"How much do we want to borrow . yes £25,000 - Yes, we have a mortgage"
"It's so easy to talk to those people!"

Yes, indeed they are annoying!!

That one with Carol Vorderman really gets my back up too!!
i hate them too- especially the one with the geordie woman in it, you know where she shouts 'Josh, dads found your scooter!)- i hate it!

Its made far too easy for people to get into debt these days, but i do generally think that its down to the individual- I've never been in debt and would never take out a loan or get anything on credit.
I think need to go and look for my scoooootar in the garage.
agreed these adverts are so bloody fake darlin .xx
OMG! i hate them too especially the josh, dad found your scooter!!...and the one with the guy playing wit the ball..can his nose get any bigger...lol
i agree they are so fake and they are always so cheesey
I do admit i get a bit fed up with these ads as they are on so often. I do understand they need to advertise but they do seem to be on a lot. They must be making quite a lot of money out of desperate people to be able to advertise as it is not cheap.
Some adverts are misleading you have to be a home owner because they use your property as colaterol. Some involve you being made bankrupt and paying extra fees.
Yes they annoy me too. And yes that one with Josh and his Scooter, in fact now I grab the remote and switch over for a minute till it has finished
yes they are irritating, same thing over and over again
I generally think of them this way. If they as a company can afford the extortionate amount of money it must cost to have those annoying adverts running so many times a day on so many different channels, they must be making a helluva lot of profit from the people they're lending money to.

And aren't looking out for the person they're loaning to, more themselves.

I know businesses are there to be a business... but I don't think those companies are very ethical about it all.
I hate those ads too, especially the Picture ones. If I was on the phone to that woman while she was shouting and speaking to her husband and kids I would have told her to call me back later when she was less busy and put the phone down. So rude! (Yes I know it's only TV, but it's annoying!;))

I used to sell loans for a well known building society, and I'd never get one myself. On top of the extortionate amount of interest they charge, they rarely give out loans without making you take up their insurance too, which is also costly, and doesn't cover you as well as you might think it does. They are a big con really, and I have seen a lot of people get into huge problems because of credit.
I totally agree with you .. and specially now that none of them want to lend me any moneyyyyy !! I hate them all
