Is there a resource to get a TRULY free credit score. One without signing up for credit monitoring services??

Most of the offers for free credit scores come with strings attached that you must sign up for some kind of service which costs $$$. Is there a way to get my credit score without going through one of these services?

Answer:
www.annualcreditreport.com If you plan on disputing stuff, you probably don't want to use these because it gives the credit bureaus an extra 15 days for validate.
Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i. By current US law, you get one free report per year.

BTW: have a lot of info ready from your credit history (mortage agreements, car loan agreements, they will ask a lot of information)
I have never found a site with a free FICO credit score, but once a year you can get a free credit report (annualcreditreport.com), to get your FICO score they will charge you about 5 dollars.
Unfortunately there isn't anywhere that you can purchase your credit score for free. Your best bet, like someone mentioned earlier, is to get your free credit report from annualcreditreport.com and while obtaining the information, they charge a small fee for the score if you choose to purchase it. That way you pay a small fee, however you are not signing up for any recurring monthly fees.
