Do I Need That Credit Card?

I found an article with extremely excellent information on needing a credit card. I thought I would share it with whoever wants to ask this question. I Know many people ask whether they really need a credit card or not.

I found the article at http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repa. - Hope it helps all of you with this question. =D there is also a good credit card list where you can view reviews and overall ratings and benefits of credit cards on the credit card list link. =D

Answer:
I have lived for over 2 years without a credit card. My debit card has the Visa logo so I can use it as a credit card if I need to. Being without debt is my goal so the last thing I would want is another credit card.
I don't understand why anybody would use a credit card, i pay CASH for everything. TVs, Fridges, Diamonds, Bentleys, Houses, Condos, Governments, Islands, etc.

Cash is best!
nobody needs one of these pieces of junk that just help credit bureaus find out everything you buy.

if you get audited by the irs, the first thing they will pull up is your credit card statement.
REMEMBER THAT YOU ALSO NEED CREDIT CARDS TO BUILD A CREDIT HISTORY---this is the single most important thing that most Americans in this country need.

Without a credit history you can't get: private loans, makes it hard to rent apartments, and of course get good credit cards
Agreed. However I was told repeatedly through many sources that the EASIEST way to build credit after a BK is through a few low limit cards that you put minimal charges on and pay off monthly. Keeping your debt to credit ratio at 50% or less and wait it out. I don't own a house ( I rent ) and my car is long paid off.. so I don't have an easy way to raise my credit score. You have to have credit, even if it's minimal amounts, to do that. The main gripe I have with using your debit card is that it IS linked right to your bank account.. so if someone compromises your number they can clean you out. Then you have a rather large mess to clean up. So much easier to float things on a credit card if you have the self control to pay them off every month.
thanks for the information
