Equifax Credit Bureau: What in the hell do you have to do to speak to a real person on their 800 number?

I have tried different 800 numbers and have spent over an hour calling different times and with different numbers and I can never speak to a human. The website is the same. What do I do? What number or secret code or magic trick to I have to know?

Yea, I know exactly where you are coming from. With the 3 credit reporting agencies, unfortunately in order for you to get a human, you need to get either your free or buy your credit report.

Once you "buy" or "receive it for free", then their is a confirmation code that you use when calling them. The "actual" telephone number is on the credit report that you just received.

Other trick, you have only 30 days from the date that you got your credit report to contact them through phone, because after this time your confirmation number "ends/expire".
