Is it possible to put off your credit card debt temporarily while you are in school full time?
Answer:
No- you didn't put off spending the money did you? Return what you bought on credit and limit your spending.
it is possible, but you would have to contact your credit card company directly to have it suspended
If you have credit protection insurance and lose your job, then it may be possible. However, that coverage is usually a waste of money because it can be very expensive and difficult to benefit from.
You may wish to try options for reducing your overall payments so that you are able to reduce the hours that you have to work while you are a student.
Just make sure that you do not fall behind. Once that happens, your debt can spiral out of control and your credit can be ruined. Good luck!
You can check with your credit card company it never hurts to ask, but if they say no (which, is what I would expect). You have another alternative. You can do an online search for student loans or education loans, and use them to pay off your credit cards. The interest rates are usually longer and a lot of those loans will let you defer payment until 6 months after graduation. The absolute first place you should start is your schools Financial Aid office, and see if they know of any alternate loan sources you may qualify for.
Feel free to email if you have any other questions, or to let me know how your search is going.questionsunc@yahoo.com
credit card, probably not, but school loans, yes. What you should do is take out a school loan and pay off your credit card bill. The interest is lower and you will not have to pay it until you graduate.

No. Credit card companies are not like school loan companies, they do not allow you to defer your payments.
