The entire cost of filing a Chapter 7 could run a couple thousand dollars. You have filing fees, a multitude of motions and forms to file, required credit counseling, attorney fees, and the list goes on.
i don't know about la.but in ala.they have changed the laws,now u have to go to money management classes.takes a lot longer to get through it..the cost is based upon what is owed.
