any loan or loan application which requires a credit search will show on your credit history regardless of sub prime or high street lender.
yes it does..bur are you mad, have you seen their interest rates. personally i'd look else where, they are nothing but legal lone-sharks. have you not watched the watchdog programmes on TV the last few years?

It Can Be a good thing as long as you have paid for it but if you haven't it will be held against you just as if it was a million pounds from a bank Dave
As far as I am aware. if no credit check was carried out it should not be on the credit check part of your credit report. HOWEVER. It may appear in other areas of your credit report, it's not just based on searches.
If you default on a payment. it will show up. If youre really concerned, go to www.experian.co.uk and get yourself a copy of your report it's about £2 (payable online or by post) and really interesting.
If there was no credit search you may be ok, but the chances are they will be legally obliged to divulge all business if they get audited or a visit from the VAT inspector.
It depends what credit report company that Provident use.
If they use experian, then it may not show up on Equifax.
Also, not all companies record data with CR agencies. There is one major high street bank that doesn't, well not on the reports I have seen anyway.
If in doubt ring 08700 100 583 (Equifax) and it will cost you about £2.50 with your debit card to get a credit report. Should be with you in seven days.
