I have 2 identity theft accounts, being used by the same person. what do i do? how can i make him stop?
Answer:
First cancel all your accounts and get new ones
Second talk to a lawyer
third, get Identity Theft Shield
To do the last 2 go here:

You could have known about these false accounts much sooner if you had credit monitoring and there for less damage would have been done and it would be a little easier to correct.
Good Luck
1. Cancel all your credit cards, immediately
2. File reports with all three credit bureaus
3. File a police report and carry a copy of it with you at all times for at least 5 years.
I'm serious! This happened to me. The only thing that prevented me from going to jail was that report!!
DO THIS IMMEDIATELY!
DO NOT CONFRONT THE PERSON EVER. LET THE POLICE AND LAWYERS CONFRONT THAT PERSON.
If you have the address, file a police report and show them the address confirmed for both debts. Police generally do not pursue ID theft complaints because they are so tough to track. However, this is an easy one since you have done all the work. Let them lock him up.
Also, postal inspectors love to get involved for ID theft incidences.
As the previous responder states.getting the police to do anything is difficult. To make it even more fun.you can't prosecute that person because they didn't steal from you! They stole from the store, and they have to be the ones to prosecute.
You can sue this person for damages, but I honestly don't think you will get much, if at all.
Your first step is to go to the link I've posted below. It goes into every step you need to take to handle ID Theft. I won't bother to repeat it all here. Just do every step, document everything, and send all letters by certified mail/return receipt to prove people were notified.
The negative items will be removed form your credit history shortly. With luck, maybe you can show this to the car dealer and refinance your loan at a lower interest rate.
