Why so hard on us residents?

why are people from other countries able to start businesses,go to fancy schools, pretty much everything is at there finger tips, 9 billion a month to help IRAQ, and yet everything for us residents is based on a credit score, and if your credit score is not right, you are told to go sit in the corner for 10 years. but keep paying your taxes!

I understand your frustration. Your focus is in all the wrong places. Your credit score is based on your performance and accountability of funds or services that has been trusted to you. Now you might start caring about your credit and not abuse it. Make one shift in your thinking. Stop looking at all the reasons you can not do something and start working at finding ways that you can.

You don't have to wait 10 years to start rebuilding your credit. Get a secured credit card and make small charges each month and pay it off on time. Build up your savings to $1000 and then take out a loan against your savings account and pay it off on time and a few months early. Then request a un-secured credit card. Keep a job longer than a year. Once you had a job for a year then buy a used car. You will have great credit in about 2 years doing this.

Do you want to start a business? After you get to that point and you show creditors you can be responsible visit the Small Business Administrartion and learn how to start a business.

Why does other people have it "SO EASY"? because they are responsible. It has nothing to do with race, or imigrents, or special programs, or the war, or anything. Your in control, If you lost control it is your fault and you have to fix it.
because they burn and throw rocks to Mc Donald's all over the world

You are just used to your American system of living - on credit! Spend more than your take home pay.

Newcomers starts from scratch. They are accustomed to cash system. They can live without credit cards. Asians usually, save tighly - from 10 to 20% of their income. With these savings, they start their family business which typical American won't even consider of getting into - opening up a samll convenient store, turn gas station, etc. Every family member works. They value hard work, as they do value education. Send kids to school. Before you know, their kids are doctors, pharmacists, engineerss, computer analysts etc. while you are still doing the same - or worst than ever.

Other newcomers came here with no money in their pockets but well-prepared - educated, knows the language and willing to work hard. These are the folks to watch. In 10 years, they will left you far behind .
It sounds like credit has already taken you to financial hell. Get off credit and live on what you earn. You will find freedom.
sorry, but that's just the way the system is set up,my advice to you is to keep good credit, when you decide to have a mate make sure,he or she has good credit also.i've lived outside of the u.s and had a chance to look in,now i live within and have a chance to look out.basically, people from other countries have a different mind set, they are very hard working, very persistent, these people don't have things handed to them on a silver platter ,they have particular goals in mind and they leave no stone unturned.get to know some of these people and by the way (they have strong family ties and relationships based on trust, integrity and honesty).educate yourself on every thing that surrounds you don't sit around and listen to tv sound bites.go to the library, border ,books a millions.READ.NETWORK.THIS IS A WONDERFUL COUNTRY WITH LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES.paying taxes is a way of life, why would you want to sitt in a corner for ten years? rise up you mighty worrior and fight.simplify your life, reduce, reuse ,recycle chip away at your debt, pay your small bills then the next and so on, call your creditors they will work with you(be persistent).i will not comment on iraq at this time.happy trails be POSITIVE.
