How to write a credit report letter?

Answers:
1) How to dispute a item on your credit report.
You send a certified letter to the 3 Credit Companies, saying you want to dispute the information they report against you. List the account in dispute, and a short and sweet explanation. Advise them by law it must be investigated and proven to be yours or it must be removed in 30 days.

2) A credit Explanation Letter (when applying for credit)
Obviously something on your report has created concern about granting you credit, you want to convinve them it was an isolated incident. You need to sound like it was a big mistake and you will never let it happen again. Trust me on this, if you write some letter that you got jerked around and had not done anything wrong they will wonder how long till you blame them or have problems with other creditors. Not often but a credit explanation letter can make or break a new loan you are applying for.
What exactly are you asking for? A dispute letter?
