Visa or Mastercard? Which do you prefer?

The two are similar, but Visa is more widely accepted. I personally have a MasterCard debit card through my bank and a Visa credit card through a credit card company. I prefer to use the Visa online and over the phone because it's not linked to my bank account. I just make sure I pay it off each month so I don't get charged interest.

Doesn't really matter. Pick a local bank you have confidence in and get their card. Have a card thru your local bank gives you better customer service in a time of need. Better yet, dont use one at all.
Since Visa has wider acceptance-- I usually choose Visa. But Mastercard is close behind and I'm sure it doesn't make much of a difference...
