How do we go about reporting non-paying clients to the credit bureaus?

I work for a domestic law attorney. We cannot afford to send every client with an unpaid balance to our collection attorney. We would like to at least report the ones we don't sue for fees to the credit bureaus. Other businesses extending credit on any level should know that those people don't honor their debt.even with a contract!

Answer:
You can contact the business offices of equifax experian and trans union - you need to pay a fee to become a member but then you can report your unpaying clients to them. You can become a member of one bureau or all three.
There are several ways, some of the credit collection agencies don't charge anything if you give them all your bad accounts and they get a percentage of what they collect for you. There are three credit bureau and the collection agency can help you submit the right paperwork. There are no guarantees that this process will help you get paid either, but certain percentage of bad debt can be recovered by using professionals that have the time to make the calls and write the letters.
Good luck
