All three credit agencies give me a different credit score from 547-600 if I'm applying to refinance my car...

which agency's credit score will they look at the most or do they combine them and get the average number?

Answers:
An interesting fact I found out recently (and I thought I had an above average knowledge of credit issues) is that there is actually a different credit score that is used for car loans than for other type loans. To be honest with you I do not know how to request or get this score, but that is what Toyota Financial told me.
It depends on where you are going, but I dont see a good refinance with those bad scores.
They either average them or take the middle one. That's decent credit. I'll bet you don't have a problem.
They usually take the middle one. But even your best isn't too good. Good luck!
most likely will take the middle number
Most banks, financial companies look at TransUnion, they are the largest credit reporting agency, were as the others don't show all of your debt, which is sometimes good if your credit isn't.
different bank uses different agencies. they normally use one and do not combine the score together.

your score is a bit low. you should consider a co-signor.
Companies use different agencies. You can ask the company you are refinancing through which agency they use and I'm sure they will tell you. They usually use one agency, they do not combine all three together.
They take the average
Auto finance is what I do for a living and most of the other posters simply do not know what they are talking about.

I have 15-lenders and they all have what's called a default bureau. It's about a 50/50 split between Equifax and Transunion. None of them look at Experian and believe me none of them average scores.

Your scores are not real good, you may be able to refinance but it will depend on what lender you use weather it will lower your payment or interest rate.
