How do I apply for a Diner's Club card?

I heard you have to be referred by someone who already has a card with them. Is that true?

You can go to www.dinersclub.com and apply. In the US, the Dner's card has been rebranded with the MasterCard service mark, so it's accepted anywhere MasterCard is.
It's nothing special- Diners Club was the first national credit card; now, almost no one uses it. Don't bother, all you need do is apply.

The only people I know that have a Diners Club card, have them because their companies gave them that card and they hate it. There are a lot of places that do not accept Diners Club but do accept AmEx, Visa & MC.

If so, all you have to do is walk in and ask, they have a form you fill out and after a few days-it'll be mailed to your house.
