Yes, been there done that, It sucks when you are entertaining a guest and a card gets denied because some moron cannot push buttons correctly, quite embarassing. I did not find out until I called the credit card company why it was denied.

Think about it if your were the credit card company and someone entered the wrong information, would you not decline the purchase?
