Are there any ways that a person can removed paid accounts from their credt report?

I have a credit card that I didnt pay for a while; the credit card compnay cloed the account which is really bad, but I did pay it off in full. I also have a medical bill that I apparently didn't pay either and I paid that one also. I really want to get a credit score higher, so I can get a loan.

If you can prove the debt is satisfied then you most contact the credit reporting co's. and file a dispute, it's kind of a long process but it's well worth the fight.

hope this helps, good luck.
You WANT those on your report, it shows you did pay them. that's a good thing. It shows responsibility.
You need to contact the debtors and have them report the debts as paid. They will never be removed, just changed from unpaid to late payment.
Nothing can be removed from your credit report unless it's untrue information.

You can try, and the credit bureaus have 30-days to prove that the information is true or they have to remove it. But if you have no proof that information on your bureau is untrue, it will not work.
I disputed 3 things from my credit report that was paid in full and all 3 were removed. and u have to do this to all 3 credit bureaus
No. The debt will show as paid which will help.. but the blemish remains on the report for 7 years.

The first answer to your question is wrong. You never want to have these on your report even if they show paid. Because it will always show as a derogatory trade. We just sat down with out mortgage broker and my GF had a few paid collections that were still on the report. But they were sill hurting her score...
You will have to contact each of the credit agencies. I have posted a step by step article I found for you below on how to do this the right way. This will help you and Good Luck!
Most of us have blemishes on our reports, what you should do is keep building on your good credit and let time take care of your past bad history. May I suggest a site that can help you... http://www.thecreditrepairmanual.com...

Best regards,
No, they will go away by themselves. Some of them stay in your report for 7 yrs others for 11 depends. I have Sears card that I haven't used in years and it still shows...don't worry about it.
