Annual credit report.com question?
So is there a way to get it from all 3 or just 1?
Answers:
Go back to the home page and pick the next company. You have to do them one by one
I know you can get a totally free credit report annualy from americancreditreport.com.
My understanding is that it takes you to each company in turn, one at a time.
Yeah you gotta back to annual credit report.com and ask for your credit again, since it already gave you equifax, it'll only give you 2 other choices.
I am not familiar with that site, but you might try freecreditreport.com. For 29.95 you get all three reports and they keep updating you on changes in your credit report for 12 months.
you may request a credit report for free from each of the three big agencies...seperately.
most "free" report companies will actually charge you for a combined report.they hook you with a single report and hope that you want a FICO score or a combined report and be willing to pay for it. The big lucrative product the "free" report companies offer is a credit monitoring service.
Bait n' switch.
You should have selected all three if you wanted them from all three, it would have walked you through individually. But you can go back to the site and do the others.
Yes; it will take you to each bureau seperatley. When you were finished w/ Equifax there should have been an option to return to annualcreditreport.com (At the very top of the page) Once you get back to annualcreditreport.com it will give you the option to view the next two bureaus. Hope that helps and good luck! :)
cmdr is right.
I've been on this dozens of times helping people get their reports.
You need to read the instructions and follow the prompts. Also you need to be sure you have personal and loan information on hand, as it will be asking you personal questions to verify you are who you say you are.
It's not unusual for one of these agencies to refuse to give you your report over the internet, and demand that you mail for it. Just follow the instructions, mail it in and you will get it within a couple weeks.
I have yet to have a credit report refused. I supposed this is what you have to go through to protect your privacy.
They will not refuse to give you a credit report. I gotten hundreds from them for clients. Never had a problem wherein they refused to provide us with a report.
As long as you have the info they ask to verify who you are than you will be fine.
You might have done something incorrectly. Go back and read the instructions and request again. Do it one by one.
Good Luck
I assume that you do not want to pay?
One website that I know of that offers a *free* credit report, including the credit scores from all 3 agencies (which are not included through the government site) is http://answerslinks.com/creditreport.asp...
It is a 7 day free trial of their credit monitoring service, but if you cancel in the trial period you get all 3 reports and scores for free.
