These may be questions that are not heard often at all. How long ago were credit cards invented? Why does humanity invent credit cards?

I can not tell you the exact date, but if I am not mistaken sometime in the 1960's. They were invented because they are a great convience to shoppers, merchants and lenders. To shoppers because it allows them to purchase goods without having the money necessary for the purchase. To merchants because it allows them to sell things they would not otherwise be able to sell. To lenders because it is very profitable, very protitable.
its easy to pay for things especilayy if u dont have cash
credit cards were invtented to drive people insane and to kill credit. makes the need for bankruptcy attornys and pharmacudicals.
so the credit card company can make a lot of money. What else do u think
