What credit card do you think is best for someone in their mid-20's. And WHY??

Or just plain, which credit cards to you think are best? I put the age part because obviously most people my age aren't gonna qualify for platinum cards and black cards and such. I'm interested in cards that I might actually qualify for. ^__^

So what are your personal experiences?

Answer:
First of all, I disagree with all the posts that tell you that NO credit card is the best. You need to establish a credit history, and a credit card is the best way to do that. I've known responsible people who never got credit cards, and when it came time to buy house/car, they couldn't get credit because they had no history. (Just make sure you pay your bills! Don't charge anything you can't pay for with cash, and pay your bill in full every month, etc. That way you pay no interest!)

Cardtrak.com is one site that lets you pick cards based on your criteria. There are others.

What kind of card should you get? Personally, I like cards with cash back rewards, but you might want something else (airline miles, credit towards certain products, etc.) Look for ones with low APR and no annual fee.

Don't apply for too many cards at once, just pick wisely and apply for that one.
get American Express its a charge card you'll have to pay at the end of the month, good to have in case of an emergency.
Credit cards only cost you and tempt you in using .
I'm 26, and I have a MasterCard with a Dividend program - here's how it works:
For every $ you spend, you get 1% cash back. If it's money spent for groceries, gas, or medical-related payments, you get 5% back.
Once the cash-back amount accumulates to at least $50, then you let them know and they send you a check!

I think it's a pretty great program!
You probably won't like my answer, but avoid credit cards entirely. You are too young to use them responsibly and the deck is stacked against you by the companies that issue the cards. Stay cash only or you may end up working for me or one of my associates one day. :)

The best credit card is no credit card, they let you have a little of theirs to get allot of yours $$$$$$$$$$$
Any credit card with low fixed interest is good. I think avoiding a credit card is not the way to go, because establishing credit is essential in this day and age.
There is no credit card that is appropriate for anyone. Credit always translates into debt in the long run. If you know how, you can live your entire life without a credit rating, much less a card. You can do anything with a debit card that you can do with a credit card. (Except spend money you don't have). It's better to save for emergencies, and get term life insurance to deal with medical expenses.

kat i-- That is a terrible program. You have to spend an absolute minimum of $1,000 to get a check for $50. The interest payements alone total more than what you get back! Sorry to say it, but you got taken.
