Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and Credit (partial discharge)?
Answers:
I've never dealt with partial discharges.they are quite difficult to get, so be grateful if you can convince the court to allow it.
But I don't really think it's going to effect you at all. Reporting of bankruptcy is 10 years from the date filed. So an early discharge does not get it removed any sooner.
And from a credit point of view, a bankruptcy is a bankruptcy...there are no "good" flavors to it.
Thats right. It doesnt matter. Its not going to hurt you. You already have a BKC on your credit report.
So if your attorney thinks he can get you a partial than instruct him to make his attempt.
Chances are not that great but you got nothing to lose.
Good Luck
