Trust me, Sears is not the way to go, They are now financed thru Citi bank, and thier interest rate is pretty up there.
Try going to you local Macy's store, they dont use an actual banking center, i.e. Citi bank, for deciding things, they use the actual department store credit card bank, wether your trying to get credit for the first time, or you have a few problems, Macy's is there to help, some credit lines can be as low as $100 though, but honestly over time it pays off, you get credit limit increases and it helps build credit with department stores, good luck.

probably Sears. My mom even has one, and her credit is horrible!
Credit Cards are bad and will destroy your credit. Take some advice and just say no to all credit cards. If you can not afford to pay cash, then you shouldn't be buying it.
sears is about the easiest.. They offer sears cards at k-mart now too. Because kmart and sears merged.
Walmart credit is pretty easy to egt. But the rates are horrible and end up hurting people.
