Yes - any time that you ask for credit, the company you make the request with will inquire on your credit report.
If you have a lot of inquiries, that can lower your score.
I would recommend that you only ask for credit when you really need it and do some comparison shopping before filling out the application.
You can ask different lenders about their loans/credit cards (i.e. rates, terms, fees, etc.) without them having to run your credit report.

Yes it does. Your credit shows everything credit card and loan u pay.Everytime u pay off something your score goes up.Mine is 760 something.The highest is 800.The higher your score the lower your interest is. Good luck

There is a section of your report called 'inquiries' that list the companies that have inquired about your credit. It lists the date and the company that inquired about it. Yes, it is available for those that you AUTHORIZE to pull your credit. If you check your report and there are inquiries that you did not authorize you can likely have them removed as inquiries bring your score down - slightly - but down nonetheless.

Any time you apply for credit, it goes on Public Inquiries for 2 years and cannot be erased. If you apply for too many credit cards and loans and get denied it makes you look desperate, however if you are just shopping around, you are allowed 4 inquiries in 1 month.
