What's the best company to get a Visa card through?

There's just so many damn choices to choose from. Choice, Disney, Amazon, Best Buy and the list goes on and on. I was thinking about going with the card from Amazon though since I make more purchaes there then anywhere else.

Answer:
any known bank that has lower rate
As far as I'm concerned, getting a card is just like buying a car, or renting an apartment - you just shop for the best deal you can get without being TOO loyal to any one brand.
I would get the card at the bank where you do your banking. You can then usually use the credit card for check overdraft protection. Bank of America offers many types of cards including the cash back types. You can then use the cash back for anything not just Amazon or Best Buy, etc. You will probably find out that many of the store Visa cards are BofA since they just bought the major credit card company issuing those types of cards.
I would check rates first. Many card holder names are bought and sold so check privacy policies of those you might be interested in.

Reward cards are nice however the points might be high to redeem.

Credit cards r definitely a privilege--be careful how u use them & pay them off quickly. Always look for the best A.P.R. & read the fine print: watch those monthly/yrly chgs.if u really need one, get the one w/the best deal.
I have had wonderful relations with my "Harley Davidson visa" AND "world perks visa"

The world perks visa is from Northwest airlines !!

By all means DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH "CAPITAL ONE " ! awful AWFUL company !
Chase.com can help you compare offers from several of the rewards listed. In addition, they offer their own cash back and flexible rewards card. I have been very happy with my flex rewards card, I typically use it for gift cards at gas stations and grocery stores. I am considering changing to a Chase Visa with a better rewards program.
