If you have had some bad experiences with credit and was trying to clean it up can you?
credit repair
Answer:
You can always fix your own credit. Never ever use a debt consolidation company to do it, you can always do it better. It can take month's and some times even longer. I have been working at it for a couple of month's and have had some positive results. I have had some of the bad stuff come off all three of my credit reports and have been open new credit cards.
Only if you're not Hispanic like me. My credit is so F'ed up, I'd need a team of lawyers to help me out, but then that wouldn't help because the credit reporting agency's will swear they never received anything from courts or lawyers.
If you're not hispanic, then just write the credit agency a letter, they will be more than willing to help.
Just kidding, you can fix it, if there's any thing you owe that is under collection, make sure to either pay on it, or pay it off, only time will clear your credit. If you get a car loan, and make all the payments on time, the will improve your score and rating, get rid of credit cards if you have many, by many I mean more than 2, and the balances should be close to zero. Make sure the card credit amount isn't more than what you earn a year.
These are some things I learned. Hope it helps you.
Yes you can but i think it depends how severe your credit it is.
It takes time and paying things on time and never bouncing a check.
Credit card companies will give almost anyone a credit card, with a low balance. See if you can get one, use it every month for groceries or something that you usually buy, and be sure to pay it off every month. Eventually, they will increase your line of credit, and then other companies will start courting you. YOu may even need to start with a secured card -- you send them money and use the card to spend it.
You've asked yourself the question many times, "Will I ever get credit again?" The answer, although seemingly complex, is quite simple: Yes. You can have another chance at re-establishing your credit. this is coming from my source. I don't want to infringe on copyright.. the front page of my source explains credit quite well and how you can clean it up
You have only reference "car financing" and the topic of Credit Repair. so:
Make your car payment "on time" consistently.set it up on an automatic payment (always best!) and you will NEVER be late again.forget about all the scare stories out there. you could also hit the lottery. but paying your bill on time will "guarantee" you a positive return (higher credit score = lower financing costs)
Credit can only be "repaired" with disputing charges etc. if it is not accurate. if you've 'honestly' paid late. ya' gotta' pay the price. Over time, with consistently punctual payments, your credit will recover.
*Bad debts/Unpaid debts hurt your credit as badly as a bankruptcy. or worse! Don't get "repo'd".
With a more detailed questions. ya' get better, more specific answers!
Hope this helped.
