stay away from companies that want money up front. Legally they are allowed to ask for this as a finders fee, however, they HAVE TO find you a loan within a certain period of time, if they don't, they have to repay it.

YES IT DEFINATELY IS!! Companies like them should be prosecuted! I was fooled by Tenant Loans and weren't they happy to get my £50 and telling me that I have been accepted, by a company, to recive the money I wanted. They basically just 'go to the trouble' of finding a few loan companies for you, send you their details and thats all they do! You could do that yourself by just looking in Yellow pages and phoning around. I was horrified when I realised what they were doing. I actually forgot about what they did - I'm angry again now!x
