Wells Fargo = mean!?

I've opened a checking and a saving account with Wells Fargo a couple weeks ago. And on the statement, they charged me for the checkbook! Has anyone else has the same experience? That's MEAN!

Answers:
When you opened the account did you check the fee schedule to see what charges you would incur? A bank is in business to make money. If they didn't make a profit they would no longer be in business. Banks have different charges for different types of accounts depending on your account balance or activity. If you were to open a business and provide everything for free I think that you would find yourself out of business very quickly.
but they give you a free stuffed-animal horse on christmas.
No I never used them thanks for the Info on them
Ive dealt with Wells Fargo for over 15 years and havent had one problem. Actually do my investments etc also through them and its a great deal. Call or go to the bank and tell them you arent happy that they charged you for a checkbook and they will probably credit you back. Squeeky wheel gets the grease!
yeah.. they did it to me too, even after they said they'd waive the 32$ for it.. whatever.. i switched to downey savings!!
DID YA READ THE TERMS,,,WAS IT EXPLAINED BY THE REPRESENTIVE,,PERSONALLY I WOULD CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT W/THEM,,AND FINE ANOTHER LIKE A REAL BANK,,JUST TELL THEM YOUR UN-HAPPY ABOUT THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE,,,THAT;S A CUSTOMERS RIGHT,,THEY MIGHT JUST RE-MOVE THE FEE,,IF YA GET IT IN TIME;;;;
