Chances of being denied a loan?
Answers:
as long as the income you and your husband make can support the loan, then you should get approved. just be wary of variable rate loans. who knows what rates will be like in the future. find a nice fixed rate.
I would think if everything is as you describe, you should be fine.
Sounds like you should have no problem getting a loan. Good luck...
Good afternoon! While credit scores are important in just about every scenario or securing a loan, it is not the only factor a financial institution will look at in most cases. Many times they use a formula which will calculate your D.T.I. or Debt-to-Income ratio. It sounds as if your family has already started off on the right foot and has set important financial and assest protection goals. Remember that by working exclusively with your current bank you eliminate the opportunity to receive potentially better services from other lender/lending institutions.
The truth is you can almost certainly be assured that someone, someplace will provide you with a loan agreement for $10,000 but at what interest rate and terms? Do those terms then fit into the goals that you have already set?
If you would like additional information I would certainly be available to answer as many questions as I can as a Loan Officer for a mortgage company that works with many lenders on a daily basis offering a variety of solutions for families, whether newleyweds (congrat's!) or spouses of 50 years.
