I need a way out of a gym contract that is for 3 years?

about 9 months ago me and my girlfriend joined a gym called super fitness ipaid my $75 beginner fee and was going to pay for my girlfriends the next visit the monthly fee was $30 per month when i asked if there was cancelation charge they said no just tell us when you want out so we found out she was pregnant her doctor said no workin out and when i went for my first appointment with my personal trainer he was a no show and stuff happened and i had to move about 1 hour from the gym so he called and i told him i did not know when or if i was going to start and he said just call him when i was ready so the only way to pay these people is automatic payment from my checking account so fast forward 9 monthes and now i recieve a bill for $1,300 because they have been steadily trying to take payments from my account wich has no money in it and i called them they said the only way out is to have a medical reason or if the gym moved and said i am stuck for the next 3 years please hel end this

Lots of people have been screwed by this gym crap. You said you moved so that is an avenue to try. Are you military? Any other excuses you can use. Have a friend that lives further away? At this point I was desperate and I cant say what I did to get out of my membership but I did.
Most have a clause that says that if they do not have a gym within 25 miles of you (even if you moved) you are no longer obligated.

Your g/f does have a medical out.
I closed the account they were withdrawing money from, and opened a new one. They only have approval for the account you gave them.
Tell them you are moving farther away. Use a friend's address or something. Close the account they take money from.
Easy my friend-get a utility bill from someone not close to your location, 25miles radius, blank out the name put your name w/that add., sent a letter reason of cancellation, (moved) make sure there's not a same gym as the one your in.

There's a cancellation Fee=less than $40 dollars.
Make sure you add both of your names and sent a utility bill, phone bill, etc.,.
Get your Doctor to write a letter on your behalf. Send this to the Gym Manager, along with a letter stating that your personal trainer did not show up, you now live an hour away and have to be close to your baby. And - tell him you were told that getting out of it was not an issue.

If he refuses, then tell him you are sending this information to the newspaper or local troubleshooter on TV. Eventually, these people will get fed up of dealing with you.
