Where do I go to report a fraudulent transaction?Received a credit card that I didn't apply for.Thank you?

I called the customer service and they told me to alertl the credit bureau. The card company told me the account would be closed today but there was a$179. fee to open this and I never authorized any new card. I don't want this on my credit.

You are not obligated to pay for something you did not order. Refuse the card, refuse any demands for payment. Check your credit rating in several months and if this shows up write a letter to the credit bureau explaining the situation and ask that a copy of your letter be given to anyone who inquires about your credit worthiness.
Something similar happened to me. Call all of the 3 major credit reporting companies, such as TransUnion and Equifax and put a Fraud alert on your credit report.
