How can I turn a large credit card debt into a managable one quickly..it just turned from 0 to14%- 5 fig debt!
Answer:
Either you knew the rate was going to increase when you signed up for it, or you ran the rate up by not paying on time.
In any case, when you were spending the money was the time to worry about managing it, now wasn't it?
Try to get another zero or low interest card and roll it over onto the new one. Quit using the card to pay for things. Cut it up. Act like an adult and exercise some self control. You were a hot shot when you were running it up, now be a hot shot and pay it off.
switch your balance to a different card that has 0%. That is only a temporary fix though cause eventually that card will go up too. Pay off more than the minimum payment and your debt will go down faster.
