What is the difference between Visa and Mastercard?

Answers:
They are pretty much the same. The only difference would be interest rates or annual fees or some other fees. Always go with the card with the lowest interest rate and the less fees. If they are the same, then it just depends on which one you want. They are both accepted pretty much everywhere.
The difference? The name.
A credit card is a credit card...the major distinguishing item that makes one card better than the other is the interest rate on outstanding unpaid balances.
Visa is a different company and mastercard is a different company
they are two major credit card competitors

They're two different companies that pretty much do the same thing.
It's almost unheard of for a buisiness to accept one and not the other. Both will occasionally run (gimmicky) promotions, but really, there's almost no difference between the two.
the companies are different!
The differences between MasterCard and Visa credit cards are minor. They are both global, multinational companies that manage credit cards. But, they are payment systems rather than actual credit cards, so they rely on providers to use their scheme. In an attempt to reduce fraudulent card use, MasterCard, Visa and Europay agreed to introduce a chip and PIN (Personal Identification Number) system. This means that when you use your credit card, you will be asked to enter a PIN that matches the chip embedded in your card. When France introduced a similar security system, domestic fraud fell by 78%. Chooesing best one for you at:http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/bad_c...
