Has anyone ever heard of NCO FIN/99 on a credit report?

I have a balance of $68.00 from 10-1-2002, but I need to pay them. I don't have a account number though. Has anyone experience this?

Answers:
NCO Financial is a collection agency out of New York state.

You should go to www.annualcreditreport.com and pull your free credit report there.

Then you can request more information on accounts listed (like phone numbers and addresses) or even dispute the incorrect items on your credit report directly at the bureaus themselves. (By law the bureaus have 30 days to respond to a dispute.)

Good luck.
It sounds like NCO Financial..they usually deal with hospitals and doctors. I have several from an NCO FIN (but no number after the FIN). I had to pull my experian credit report and the full account number was on it.
