Can a persons wages be attached if a credit card is sent to collections?
Answers:
Varies from state to state. Some allow garnishment of wages for judgements on unsecured debit; some don't. IN any case they will have to go to court and secure a judgement against you; then file a lien at the county; then proceed to garnishment.
Call your clerk's office; they can tell you.
Only after going to court. It'll probably be a while before they do that.
Don't give them direct draft from your acocunts. They will clean you out. They are trying to scare you into doing something stupid like direct access to your account or paying them instead of buying food.
