Question about Credit.?

If you do not have any credit history, can your credit score decrease by applying for cards or loans?

I do not have any credit history, and I applied for some credit cards. Since I do not have any credit history, they did not approve me. Can this affect my credit score even though I do not have any credit history? When I do get a score, will it decrease?

Answer:
If you have no good or bad credit history, you almost certainly have no credit scores. Therefore by applying for credit, you can not lose anything on your scores. By establishing good credit even with one tiny credit card, you are on your way!
If you apply to too many credit cards, then yes it will negatively affect your credit. It doesn't look good if you've had too many inquiries into your credit. It's a red flag to lenders.
If you do not have a credit history, then credit bureau gets your information and stores it first time you apply for a a loan/credit card etc. So one application should not effect your credit score.

Yes if you apply for multiple loans/credit cards etc. within 3 months then it will affect your credit score as this shows that you are probably in debt and is trying to get a loan/credit card.

So suggestion - wait for another 3 months and try again.

If you are new to the country you are applying from, then try to get a secure credit card. That way you can build a credit history and try again for an unsecure card in another 3-4 months.
If you apply for too many credit cards then it will ding you. If you cannot get a credit card then consider a secured card from your bank. Then buy the items you would pay cash for and then quickly pay them off at the bank. Then you will get a positive rating with a positive history enabling you to get the credit cards you want,
