First Premier is one of several popular credit card issuers who provide credit cards to people with poor / no credit. They're very reputable-- and have been around for a while. Another good option is Orchard Bank. You can find both issuers (as well as others) here:

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!
no no NO nope NOPE. It is a rip off. If you are approved you only get 72 dollars to start and you have to make your minimum payments. But if you like to do you bill pay online, it is a fee, if you do it by checking, a fee, to register to see your statement online. fee.so many fees that you can never really pay it off unless you almost triple your payments.speaking from experience.
I've seen some of the fees that First Premier has, and to be honest, I believe that you can do a lot better for a credit card.
Instead of paying 400 dollars of a 500 dollar credit limit, why not save the cash and get a secured card through a local community bank or credit union? Sure, your 500 dollars will be "gone" for a while (earning interest in a CD or savings account until they unsecure the card), but your fees aren't up in smoke the minute you get the credit card. Plus, by dealing with people in an actual brick and mortar establishment, you usually can get a lot more done if you have a problem than you could over the phone or internet.
If you still insist on getting a card through these people, make sure that you aren't eaten up in fees and that they give you a favorable interest rate. Another thing to look for is the APR and the yearly service charge, blah blah. A lot of these card issuers will promise a lot to people with poor credit, and then burn you once they get the chance. Read the super fine print, and then go talk to your community bank or credit union.
At this page http://www.credit-cards-rates.com/first-... you can look through First PREMIER credit card applications, and it is really so that the fees are quite high. But the thing is that these cards have guaranteed issue and are for bad credit, so the rates are so high. But that's the only way out for people who want to start or rebuild their credit. So? in my opinion, it doesn't mean that the company is bad, be sure other credit cards for bad credit have high fees and rates.
