Who do you think is number one and why?
ex. Costco, American Apparel, google
Answer:
Wlamart? That is way older than 20 years.
I do like Google as many nline firms have bown the success curve way out of proportion. As for the fastest road to the almighty buck: I give it to youtube.com. Not sure how long it has been in existence, but to sell for $1.65 billion?? WHOAAAAA NELLLLLYYYY!
my company just started..yeahhhhhhh its the best original idea yet.
on my questions profile..
I like Google. It was a simple idea, but everybody is now using it, and the founders have made a pile of well-earned money.
Walmart.....
Sam Walton has taken his "little Arkansas" store all over the county.
Scaled Composites. Burt Rutan showed that you don't need a billion dollars or more to get to space. His work is leading to all new companies trying and vying for the lo-cost to orbit solutions and as they say, many hands make light work. Yes it still takes a dozen or so million venture capital to get ANYTHING like that off the ground both metaphorically and in reality, but he's proving its doable. I'm becoming confident I'll get to orbit in this lifetime and not because I'm an MIT grad or have a spare 20 million laying around.
