Yes, It is a hoax as are 99.9 percent of these. I have actually sent the info to the FBI. They use this info to gather some of you personal info. Like checking or savings accounts, credit cards, etc. They say they are verifying information. It is all a complete hoax. Most of the time you can type the just of the email in yahoo search and it will point you to websites that expose it as hoax or valid.

Get hold of the Federal Trade Commission and they have a email address you can forward these emails to. They will investigate them. Don't give them any information.

scam, there are also ones from spain. you can't win a lottery you never entered. people like them are just out to take advantage of anyone who would let them.
I get them from the United Kingdom all the time. Its a scam.
It is all part of the NOTORIOUS 4-1-9 scame that originally started in Nigeria.
It is called 4-1-9 scams, since section 4-1-9 of the Nigerian Criminal Code makes it a crime.
I got it, throw it off it is all ballonney. Some crazies want to spend time doing this. I even got some from Holland, UK etc; all are lies.
