How could I get a job with a fortune 1000 company..I know a need a BA but in what? Just general business...?

Most fortune 1000 companies have clear division of functions. There's the accounting/finance department, the the sales department, the HR department, the R&D department, the marketing department...etc.
You can get a BA/BS in many fields and possess enough skills and qualities to be coveted by a larger company. While more technical majors will have direct fits into certain departments, such as IT majors go into IT, engineering majors go into R&D...etc., lots of majors can go into other functions as well.
The major you have in college will point you to a general direction, but will not keep you out of a fortune 1000 company.
I recommend:
1) Try out different classes and see which ones you like. Then see what kind of jobs those majors can lead to. Choose your major and career based on your personality and preferrences... not based on how you can get into a fortune 1000 company.
2) Fortune 1000 companies hire college graduates because they wants employees who have been trained to think and find solutions. Therefore, getting into a better university and having better grades will help you more than the major itself.
3) If you really are at a loss... you can try business/economics to start if you like numbers; try mass communications/psychology/hist... if you like marketing.
