What are the future strategies of Wal Mart?

Please I need a quick response.

Answer:
They are dropping overseas markets that have not performed well and are focusing on growing in China and India. In the US, they are working to maintain their presence, but have no real close competition for what they offer. It is more of a regional thing as they try to better establish footholds with Supercenters in markets previously closed to them.
To take over the world.
the future strategies are to compete with costco
They just pulled out of Germany and Korea.

They will go towards more local stores becaause the high price of gas means people are not driving all the way there anymore
I observe that walmart is now concentrating on expansion. Their old stores are being converted into super-walmart types. Other than that, some news report indicate that walmart is buying prime property in far off locations with sufficient population in its vicinity, where no mainstream corporate store has gone before.
