How does Employee of the Month work? Do they nominate a few people first then choose the Employee of the Month? Who chooses employee of the Month? Also does Employee of the month get a bonus or anything? My brother works at walmart and wasn't sure. Please advise thanks

Assistant managers nominate an associate. During managements monthly (or weekly depending on your store) meetings the management team decides on who should get it. Most of the time its whoever is "in" with the managers.
Aside from a plaque and your name on the wall you get nothing else. No bonus or anything like that.
Im a 5 month Walmart Employee of the month winner. Just call me the best employee ever!! uhwuaha. but first they nominate 4 employees every month and decide. Good luck fellow walmarter!
