Who do I contact to lodge a complaint about a bank?

Answers:
The bank manager if it something you think they can take care of for you or your states banking commission. But now days no one listens, but good luck
If you are in the US, contact the state banking commission in the state where you live.
The banking commission.
Try the Dept. of Banking and Insurance in your state
Contact the Federal Reserve Board ( link at bottom)
We do have a Federal Bank, and be sure you have all the documentation you need to file the complaint. Don't just do a 'whiney' letter - it's a business so keep your facts true and to the point. Things like: what happened, when, where, how much, etc. If you spoke with people on the phone, who did you speak with and when, were they rude.
