Competition comes from local hardware stores, Lowe's, Ace and in some departments Wal-Mart, Costco and other major retailers.

Lowe's is the most similar competitor as far as inventory, price, target market, number of stores and company performance.
Home Depot is in the Retail Sales industry their competitors are, or were, all the hardware stores in the US! I much prefer the way it once was! <Sigh>
