Is wal-mart a responsible corporation and should they be allowed to build stores anywhere they want?

Walmart follows the same by laws as any othe big box chain. If an area is zoned for a large commercial store, why shouldn't a Walmart be allowed to build?
As far as their corporate responisbility, their activly lobbying in Washington to raise US's minimum wage and in Canada they have received praise from noted environmentalists for being environmentally responsible.
They do received criticism for driving down wages in the third world countries but they're certainly not alone in that practice.
Yes! Same Walton worked VERY hard to start Wal-mart. He's one of my hero's. Maybe you should read his book Made in America. It tell everything he went through to start wal-mart. It is one of my favorite books and he is one of my hero's! He'd turn over in his grave if he knew how wal-mart was ran today!
