What is the average net worth for businesses in America?

I've never seen even an estimate on this. I doubt that it has ever been calculated since so many businesses are privately held and do not make their financial information public. As a guess probably 80% of all businesses in America have a net worth of less than $1,000,000. The rest are higher with some approaching one hundred billion dollars. One of these companies can really pull a lot of little ones up in calculating an average. So, here is my best guess:
Mean (half higher, half lower) net worth: $300,000.
Average new worth: $ 3,500,000.
