I work at a health care place! and im having trouble with the boss?

i got wrote up! because i would not call my job on my day off.
any suggestions.

If you do not think what happened is correct, why not follow the grievance procedure in the personnel manual? Usually this starts with the person who wrote you or his/her manager. If you were written up inappropriately, it will be determined. Your manual should indicate that grievance procedures do not jeopardize employment. It may sound like a hard thing to do but management curdles when people use the grievance procedure because it can become the basis for outside legal action and employers do not like to air their dirty laundry.
