What difficulties do providers experience in the delivery of health care?

Are those difficulties a function of culture only? What are the political aspects of healthcare provision?

Answers:
As a medical administrator for over 10 years, there are two large categories of provider frustration: patients questioning the validity of the procedures or treatments that they recommend; and reimbursement of procedures and office visits by insurance companies.

The biggest distinction to make is between physicians in private practice and those who work for large health care organizations. Physicians in private practice have a far different group of frustrations and difficulties than those who practice from hospitals and health care organizations.

Physicians in private practice have to watch the bottom line very closely while physicians working for public organizations have more leeway to provide health care.
