Wal-Mart jobs? anyone?
Answers:
The Wal-Mart optical department is a private contractor that rents space in Wal-mart and acts as any other optometrist' office would. They provide eye exams and make glasses as well as dispense contact lenses.
They work with eyeglasses
sell vision enhancers?
sell glasses, do eye exams, cashier, fit people for glasses, same exact stuff a regular eye doctor does.
are you serious? the optical dept people examine people's eyes and sell eyeglasses
Screw up your order from my experience.
You can get a complete eye exam for contacts or glasses. Also you can order contacts and purchase frames and lenses for glasses.
If you wanted a job at Wal-Mart itself you would have nothing to worry about. They call them associates but none of the associates seem to be able to associate any kind of knowledge about the products they're supposed to provide information about to help consumers make their purchasing decisions. Example if you are repainting your house, it is very likely the guy working in the "paint department" doesn't know much about the subject. Since most people cannot afford not to shop at Wal-Mart, the company isn't required to pay more for employees who are somewhat educated. Good luck to you.
