What are the hiring checks that a bank goes through before hiring you.? People that work for banks please?

Answers:
I work for a large bank.

A criminal, educational, credit and drug test will be performed. They will determine if you have an felonies, or crimes which might prevent you from handling money or being responsible. They will verify any education you say you have obtained (degrees, certificates, etc). They will check your credit to see that you live within your means, have any late payments or otherwise act responsibly with your affairs.

Finally, you may be subject to a drug test, to check for illegal substances.

Banks seek to hire high caliber individuals who have clean records. If you have doubts, do not apply.
Criminal Background Check
Credit Check
Education Check
Reference Check
Professional Reference Check

These are some of the checks that Banks may perform in the hinring processs since 9-11-2001 as part of The Patriot Act.

Banks are highly regulated government insured organizations.

The hiring checks depend on the job you will be performing and the scope of responsibilities related to the financial services (Banks/Credit Union) company.

GOOD LUCK! :-)
