just a comment.you do know that if your allegations are not true, and the person in question reads this...you'll be in trouble for defamation. You can take her to court, get all your documentation proving she did you wrong and sue her. I hope you're in the US, we have laws that protect us in case like this, there are a lot of people selling stuff on eBay from other countries who just are plain scams.

how did you pay? did you use a CREDIT CARD? if so, then you need to contact the CC company and file for a chargeback.
when did the auction end?
have you notified ebay about the seller?
did you leave NEGATIVE feedback?
why would you trust a seller with 40 feedback and a 97.6% rating with such a large amount of money?
send me the item # of the auction you won if you will.
if you insist on buying on ebay, ALWAYS
pay through PAYPAL and fund it with a CREDIT CARD.
then if anything goes wrong and PAYPAL can't get you a refund, you then have the option of filing for a CHARGEBACK through your CC provider.
